Winter League & Championship – Register Now!

What is it?

We are excited to open registration for the 3rd annual winter sim league! The league will officially begin the week of Jan 6, 2025 and run for 10 weeks.

You can play your weekly round at any point during the week to be eligible for weekly individual and team prizes.

There will be a final year end tournament for the top players (based on participation) to determine the team winners and the League Champion.

Winter League is open for all members, however you must be registered in advance.

Registration deadline is Dec 20, 2024.

Entry

LEAGUE PACKAGE FOR 10 WEEKS – $195+hst per person.

*Fees will be charged to member accounts following the registration deadline.

SIM Handicap

For returning players, we will be using scores from last years league to determine starting handicap. Alternatively, you can submit practice rounds up until the start date to establish a current sim handicap.

For new players without a sim cap, you can submit practice rounds from up until the start date to establish a sim handicap. Otherwise, players will start with a “zero” cap until enough scores are posted to establish your cap.

Handicaps will be rolling through the year and will be updated weekly based on submitted scores. Sim Handicaps will be created using the 4 best rounds of your last 10 submitted scores.

How It Works

Weekly rounds

• Weekly rounds will run from Monday to Sunday.
• Each week will be a different course loosely based on the PGA schedule subject to course availability.
• Each player will have an account and will need to login to participate in each weekly event.
• Game Settings are pre-set in the event settings: “10 foot” gimmes, no mulligans, pin placement “medium”, fairways “medium”, no wind.
• Tees will be selected based on similar yardages from week-to-week, depending on the course. This means different tees may be used on different courses. Yardages will roughly be between 6100 & 6700 yds for men. Ladies will play forward tees on all courses.
• Handicaps will be calculated, updated, and communicated after each event is complete to ensure they are current week-to-week.
• Prizes will be awarded to individual gross, net, teams, and weekly contests – i.e. closet to the pin contest or similar [$$ based on participation].

Results & communication

• Weekly Emails with updates and results will be sent to each participant of the competition every Monday
• Prizing will be allocated to Credit Book accordingly
• Full season final results to be sent following Year End Championship Round
