Dear Members, The Handicap Committee invites you to join us for an upcoming Rules of Golf Clinic on Wednesday, April 22 at 5:00 PM, featuring a presentation by a Golf Ontario representative. Whether you’re playing competitively or enjoying a casual round, understanding the Rules of Golf is essential—not just for your own game, but to protect the entire field and ensure fair play for everyone. Knowing the rules helps preserve handicap integrity, avoids unintended penalties, and reinforces the spirit of honesty and respect that defines the game. We’re pleased to present this engaging and informative session led by Ian Nordheimer, Level 3 National Certified Referee, who will provide clear explanations, recent rule updates, and practical insights to help improve your understanding of the game. This event will also include a New Member Meet & Greet, offering a great opportunity to connect with staff, captains, and fellow members. Session Highlights: •. Key rule clarifications and points of emphasis •. Common misconceptions and how to avoid them •. Game management insights from a national-level official • Open Q&A session This friendly and interactive event is a valuable learning opportunity for all members.
